Frequently Asked Questions

Find practical answers about equipment selection, customization, material testing, delivery and after-sales support.

How do you select the right screening equipment for a project?

We evaluate the material characteristics, feed size, target particle size, required capacity and operating environment. Our engineers then determine the appropriate screening principle, screen area, deck configuration and cleaning system. This application-based selection process helps ensure that the proposed equipment matches the actual production requirement.

What is the difference between rotary, linear, gyratory, tumbler and ultrasonic screens?
  • Rotary vibrating screens are flexible solutions for general powders, granules and liquids.
  • Linear vibrating screens are commonly used for continuous, higher-capacity classification.
  • Gyratory sifter and tumbler screens provide accurate multi-stage separation with gentle material movement.
  • Ultrasonic vibrating screens are designed for fine powders that are difficult to process with conventional mesh-cleaning methods.

How is the required screening capacity determined?

Capacity depends on bulk density, moisture, particle-size distribution, mesh aperture, separation accuracy and feeding conditions. We calculate the configuration using actual process data and may recommend a material test where the product is fine, sticky or otherwise difficult to screen.

What after-sales support is available, and how quickly will you respond?

Our service team provides installation drawings, operating manuals, online guidance and video technical support. We aim to respond to technical enquiries by phone or email within one hour.

The complete equipment is covered by a 12-month warranty from the agreed warranty start date. After a fault and the required part have been confirmed, standard spare parts can normally be dispatched on the same or next working day, subject to stock and destination.

Technical consultation and maintenance guidance remain available throughout the equipment’s service life. Specific warranty coverage, response time, shipping cost and on-site service arrangements are defined in the sales contract.

How many screen decks are required?

One screen deck normally separates the feed into two fractions. Additional decks can produce several particle-size grades in one continuous process. The final number of decks is determined by the required product fractions, throughput, screening accuracy, available installation height and maintenance access.

How can mesh blockage be reduced?

The solution depends on the cause of blockage. Fine, lightweight or electrostatic powders may require ultrasonic assistance, while other materials can use bouncing balls or mechanical cleaning devices. Feed rate, moisture, mesh tension and vibration parameters must also be considered. We evaluate these factors as a complete screening process.

Can the equipment be customized for a specific application?

Yes. Sanyuantang can customize machine dimensions, capacity, screen decks, mesh aperture, construction material, discharge direction, motor, voltage and controls. Screening equipment can also be combined with feeders, conveyors and elevators to form an integrated material-handling system.

What construction materials are available?

Typical options include carbon steel, stainless steel product-contact parts, full SUS304 construction and selected SUS316L configurations. The appropriate material is determined by corrosion, abrasion, hygiene, temperature and contamination-control requirements. Mesh, seals and internal components are selected according to the same operating conditions.

Is the equipment suitable for food and pharmaceutical production?

Equipment can be configured with stainless steel contact surfaces, enclosed structures and easy-clean components. Customers should identify any requirements relating to surface finish, seal material, cleaning procedures, material traceability and contamination control during the technical review. We will then develop the configuration around the applicable production standard.

Can the system control dust and material leakage?

Enclosed screening and conveying structures can reduce dust emissions, product loss and external contamination. The equipment may also be connected to sealed feeding, discharge and dust-collection systems. For combustible powders, grounding, electrical protection and plant safety requirements must be assessed as part of the complete process design.

Can the electrical system be configured for our local power supply?

Yes. Voltage, frequency, phase, motor and electrical components can be selected according to the destination country and factory power supply. Customers should confirm the electrical standard and operating environment before production. Requirements for explosion protection, control cabinets or communication interfaces should also be

Can the equipment be integrated into an existing production line?

Yes. We can adapt the machine height, inlet and outlet positions, discharge direction, supporting structure and control interfaces. To assess compatibility, customers may provide layout drawings, connection dimensions and information about upstream and downstream equipment. Interface drawings are prepared for approval before manufacturing.
